The International Orienteering Federation has chosen Italy as the organizer of the Orienteering World Cup Final Round 2020. The races will be held on October 1st – 4th between Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia in the Cansiglio Forest.
Italy has already been the scene of important international events in the past, including the 2014 World Orienteering Championship run between Trento, Asiago and Venice, the Junior World Championship held in Primiero in 2009 and the World Cup Final organised in Subiaco (Rome) in 2005.
